Todd Linden joined Merchants’ Choice Payment Solutions in October of 2010 and serves as President and CEO. Mr. Linden has a lifetime of experience in the acquiring business, more recently holding the position of Senior Vice President and Divisional Manager of Operations at National Processing Company. Prior to that, Mr. Linden served as President and COO of Card Commerce International, and spent 11 years with Bank of America Merchant Services where he held several key management positions. Mr. Linden has served multiple terms on the ETA Board of Directors, the ETA Advisory Board and has chaired several industry related committees; including the ETA Government Relations Committee.
Giovanni Diano assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer for MCPS in December of 2010. Most recently, he held the position of Senior Vice President of Finance for National Processing Company (NPC). Prior to that, Giovanni served as Vice President of Financial Systems and Reporting for Retriever Payment Systems. He has also held the position of Manager of Financial Systems at Continental Airlines. Giovanni holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas and a Masters in Business Administration from Rice University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Senior Vice President – Chief Information Officer
Robin joined Merchants’ Choice Payment Solutions in April 2016 and currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Before joining Merchants’ Choice, Ms. Laskowski held the position of Client Solutions Director & Sales for SmartDog Services, an Oracle technology and ERP services provider. While there, she worked with mid to large size customers in the planning, delivery and support of complex technology solutions. Prior to her nine years with SmartDog, Ms. Laskowski spent 12 years with National Processing Company (NPC) where she held the position of Senior Vice President of Information Technology. While at NPC, she was responsible for technology related support and development. Ms. Laskowski holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from the University of Houston and has completed Northwestern/Kellogg’s two year Woman’s Senior Leadership Program.
Lori B. Marwill
Senior Vice President – Controller
Lori Marwill joined Merchants’ Choice Payment Solutions in August 2012 and is Senior Vice President and Financial Controller. She has held senior financial management positions in the payments industry for over 13 years. Prior to joining Merchants’ Choice Payment Solutions, Lori served as Vice President and Controller for National Processing Company (now part of Vantiv) and Controller of Retriever Payment Systems. She has over 22 years of accounting and reporting experience. She has also played pivotal roles in integrating acquired entities and implementing and enhancing ERP solutions. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Lori is a member of Merchant Acquirers’ Committee, Woman’s Network in Electronic Transactions, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Charity League.
Senior Vice President – Operations
Chris Hartner joined the Merchants’ Choice Payment Solutions team in October of 2013 and currently heads several business critical units within the operations center. Chris is a seasoned industry professional with 15 years of experience across multiple facets of merchant acquiring. Prior to joining Merchants’ Choice Payment Solutions, Chris served in key leadership roles for Capital One Merchant Services and Delta Card Services.
Senior Vice President – Sales
Larry joined Merchants’ Choice Payment Solutions in August 2002 and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining Merchants’ Choice Payment Solutions, Larry had an extensive sales and marketing career with The Minute Maid Company, a Division of The Coca Cola Company, based in Houston, Texas. Larry holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
Vice President – Human Resources
Shannon Spates joined MCPS in March 2011 and currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources. Shannon brings many years of HR expertise in varying industries, including maritime and financial services. She obtained a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development from the University of Texas – Tyler, and holds certificates as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). Shannon is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
